New Token System in Koala Inspector – Flexibility at Your Fingertips!

Koala Inspector is getting a major update: a token-based system that replaces the current fixed-credit allocation. Starting with the rollout, you choose how to spend your monthly tokens across any available Koala Inspector features, rather than having a preset number of uses locked to each feature.
Why Switch to a Token System?
The old system allocated a fixed number of credits per feature per plan, which worked fine if your priorities stayed constant. In practice, research-heavy months meant you hit the limit on product statistics or ad campaigns long before you touched other features. The token model lets you put your monthly allocation where you actually need it. Heavy on retailer discovery one month? Spend there. Running competitor ad analysis the next? Shift your tokens accordingly.
How Does the New Token System Work?
Each month your plan provides a set number of tokens, and you spend them on whichever Koala Inspector features you need. The plan breakdown:

220 tokens/month (plus VIP support and tracking for up to 50 shops)

One-Time Token Packs
Need more tokens in a busy month? Top up any plan with one-time packs that never expire: 10 tokens for $3.99, 25 tokens for $6.99, or 100 tokens for $11.99. These stack on top of your monthly allotment, so unused pack tokens carry forward until you use them.

You allocate tokens based on what your business needs that month. For example:
- If you want to focus on discovering new retailers, put more tokens into the "Find Retailers" feature.
- If you're running competitor ad research, shift your tokens there instead.

What Changes in Practice
The main practical difference is that your monthly tokens are yours to direct. Instead of running out of product-statistics credits mid-month while sitting on unused ad-campaign credits, you decide the split. If your research workflow stays consistent month to month, the experience looks similar to the old system. If your priorities shift, the token model gives you that room.

Token System FAQs
Q1: What happens if I don't use all my tokens in a month?
Monthly subscription tokens reset at the end of each billing cycle and do not carry over. One-time token packs are the exception: they never expire and stack on top of your monthly allotment, so 100 pack tokens bought in November are still available in March.
Q2: Can I upgrade my plan to get more tokens?
Yes. Upgrading to the Premium plan gives you 220 tokens each month plus VIP support and tracking for up to 50 shops. Or top up any plan with a one-time token pack if you only need extra tokens for a specific period.
Q3: Will this affect my current plan pricing?
No. The token system replaces how credits are counted, not what you pay. Your monthly subscription fee stays the same.
